Built to stay.

Decks and outdoor construction.

We build backyards to be proud of.

Big Deck

Oversized platforms in Douglas fir or cedar. Morning coffee. Midnight gatherings. Bare feet are welcome.

Hot Tub

A cedar hot tub is pure outdoor magic — warm water, cool air, and the rich scent of wood all working together. The natural heat holds beautifully, making every soak feel slow, deep, and restorative. Over time, the cedar develops a gorgeous patina that blends seamlessly into any backyard. It’s the kind of simple luxury that turns an ordinary evening into a ritual you look forward to.

Cold Plunge

Shock. Reset. Repeat. Clean lines, bold materials. As much sculpture as self-care.

MW12 ThermoWood® Outdoor Sauna

Compact yet luxurious, it’s ideal for couples or small families seeking a relaxing retreat at home. Built to the highest standards, the MW12 blends timeless design with lasting performance.

Native Texas Landscaping

A frame, not an afterthought. Limestone, stone, and native planting anchor the deck in place.

Outdoor Shower

Clean lines, warm wood, and water pressure turn a daily rinse into a moment of calm. When designed well, it becomes both a functional upgrade and a small luxury you look forward to. It’s the closest you’ll get to spa-level serenity in your own backyard.

Schedule a Site Visit

A site visit is the starting point for every project. We meet on site, walk the yard, and talk through how you use the space. From there we outline what makes sense for a deck and identify any optional expansions if relevant. You leave with clear direction before any commitments are made.

A Few Common

Questions

  • Most of our decks start in the Pacific Northwest with Douglas Fir, kiln dried, up to 50 feet, and always free of heart. When the design calls for it, we shift to Thermory Pine or Thermory Ash, or bring in Western Red Cedar.

Oil, not gloss. Grain, not gimmicks.

  • Timeline depends on size, access, and complexity.

Most decks are completed within one to two weeks once construction begins. Larger projects or work that includes hardscaping, site work, or custom details may take longer.

We provide a clear schedule before work starts and communicate as the project progresses.

  • Yes. Every deck we build is custom and designed for the specific site and how the space will be used.

  • We build exclusively with real wood.

Standard wood decks require periodic cleaning and re-oiling to protect the material and allow it to age well. In most cases this means a recoat several months after installation, followed by regular maintenance depending on exposure and use.

For clients who want a longer maintenance interval, we also offer thermally modified wood with manufacturer warranties of up to 30 years. These materials provide excellent durability and stability without resorting to plastic or composite products.

We provide clear care guidance for every deck we build and offer maintenance and refinishing services if you prefer not to manage it yourself.

  • Yes. We build decks throughout the year.

Seasonal weather can affect scheduling and timelines, but construction itself is not limited to a specific season. We plan around conditions and will be upfront if timing needs to adjust based on site access, rain, or temperature.

If a project is better started or paused for practical reasons, we will say so clearly.

  • In most cases, clients handle permits directly. This keeps things straightforward and avoids unnecessary layers between you and the city.

If a permit is required and you would prefer that we manage it, we can do so upon request. When we handle permits, that scope is clearly defined and included as part of the project.

We are familiar with local requirements and can advise early on whether a permit is typically needed for your project and what the best approach is.
