The original BigDecks
BigDecks OG 4×12 is our namesake and flagship surface board arrangement, available in Douglas fir or Western red cedar. Long, continuous runs and broad boards set the scale. We also work with other real-wood profiles, ipe, and thermally modified wood, with materials and construction details selected for each project.
A whole outdoor space
Our work extends from decks to outdoor bathing, fencing and gates, pergolas and shade, carpentry, welding and metalwork, and landscape & stonework. A sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, or outdoor shower can be planned together with the deck and the ground around it.
For a practical entry option, Standard Decks uses pressure-treated pine for both structure and surface, ring-shank nails, and an unfinished base. A finish is available separately. For layouts involving a site plan or multiple components, Design Assist develops the design before construction; its fee is credited to the build when you move forward.
