Built by BigDecks · Project story

One courtyard.
More ways to be outside.

A broad timber deck connects the doors, the tree and a quiet bathing corner. The details turn the ground between the buildings into a place to spend time.

01 / The space

A shared floor
for everyday life.

Long runs of substantial wood carry your eye through the courtyard. The deck connects several doors and leaves the mature tree as part of the space. There is room to sit without filling every corner.

In your design, we work through the same relationships: where you step outside, where you gather and how you move between them.

02 / The ritual

A small corner.
A reason to slow down.

The wood-sided soaking tub and outdoor shower sit within a timber enclosure. Warm material and a simple water fixture give this part of the courtyard its own character.

A bathing space needs more than an equipment choice. We consider privacy, the surface underfoot, drainage, utilities and room for maintenance as part of the project.

03 / The connection

Wood meets stone.
The garden comes with it.

Limestone steps and gravel continue the route away from the deck. The planting and existing trees soften the boundary between the built surfaces and the garden.

These transitions belong in the design from the start. The deck, bathing area and landscape become parts of one place.
